About
About Australia Migration Hub
Australia Migration Hub builds free tools that help skilled visa applicants understand points tests and state nomination rules.
What we do
Our tools turn official government points tables into calculators you can use in a couple of minutes. They show where your points come from, what is still missing and which changes would add the most, such as a higher English score or a Professional Year.
Where the information comes from
- Victorian Points Test: Live in Melbourne (State Government of Victoria).
- 189 / 190 / 491 points: Department of Home Affairs points table.
- Occupation lists: the skilled occupation legislative instrument (LIN 19/051) on the Federal Register of Legislation.
- Occupation skill levels: ABS ANZSCO 2022, the version Home Affairs uses for skilled lists.
Each tool shows the date its rules were last checked. When a government publishes new rules, we update the tool and its date.
What our tools are not
Our tools give general information and estimates. They are not migration advice and do not assess your eligibility. A points score, an occupation listing or a priority status does not guarantee an invitation, a nomination or a visa. We are independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by the Australian Government or any state government.
For advice about your own situation, speak with a registered migration agent (you can check the Register of Migration Agents) or an Australian legal practitioner.
